Measure revenue from SEO

SEO takes months to pay off, so it's the easiest channel to either over-invest in or abandon too early. The fix is simple: connect search traffic to revenue.

Why this matters

If you write content, you need to know which posts and keywords bring customers, not just impressions. That tells you what to write next, what to update, and whether SEO deserves more of your time.

Why most analytics tools can't tell you

Google Search Console shows clicks and impressions but no revenue. Google Analytics can show organic traffic but rarely ties a specific search term to a sale. The two halves, keywords and money, live in different tools.

How DataFast does it

DataFast connects Google Search Console and puts search terms next to your revenue data. You see which queries drive traffic, and because revenue attribution is built in, which content actually earns.

How to do it

  1. Connect Google Search Console in Website Settings → Integrations
  2. Connect your payment provider and set up revenue attribution
  3. In your dashboard, review search terms and use the Pages card to see revenue per post
  4. Filter by referrer google.com to isolate organic search and read its revenue per visitor

Pair this with the Journey tab to see how a reader becomes a customer after landing from search.
